Maryann Boddy
Camp Site Director

As a native of Sitka, Alaska, I grew up very active, playing and loving every sport available to me. Gymnastics, baseball, soccer, basketball, softball, track and field; whatever the game, I loved playing sports. I began pursuing soccer competitively in the fifth grade when I joined a premier team, Eastside FC, out of Bellevue, WA. I now play for the Seattle University women's program, having graduated from Matteo Ricci College with a bachelor in Humanities. We are a very talented division II program, having seen three national births in the last four years. Next fall we will make the jump to division I and I have the great fortune of one remaining eligibility year to compete in that season. Aside from my success with SU soccer, I have had the honor to represent Washington State in a regional tournament in Utah, I have competed for a national championship in Dallas, TX with the Seattle Saints, a women’s amateur team, and in the summer of ’06 I played with the women’s Seattle Sounder Saints where we took third in the national final four in Vancouver, CA. Soccer is my passion and I hope to play professionally at the end of my career at Seattle U. However, in seeking opportunities to play it has become apparent to me that we are in need of more teams and better leagues for women to play at a higher level. As a coach of an EFC U12 girl’s team, I hope my players will have more opportunities to play professionally when they finish college
