TESTIMONIALS RIMAN’S BLOG Monday, February 25, 2008 Soccer Clinics Last Weekend, when we got Friday off, I went to a soccer clinic held by Joseph Supang at the cooler. Joseph Supang played at SWHS in year 2000, when they placed 2nd in state. He then went on to Seattle University and won the National Championship2004. My dad received an email a couple of weeks ago saying that Joseph Supang was holding a soccer clinic. My dad asked me if I wanted to go and I said yes. I later asked my cousin Brian Moote if he knew who he was. He replied yes, they had played basketball together in the 8th grade and knew each other throughout high school. When Saturday arrived I went to the first session, the first thing we did was juggling. It was a bit crowded but I managed to juggle 120 times, all of which were with my feet. Joseph Supang seemed to be very impressed. Two hours later, when the session ended, I was still full of energy. I asked my dad if I could go with the older group because my age group was easy because there were 11 and 12 years olds. When the next session started there were only about 7 other people, and we also started juggling. Since there were fewer people, I had more space to juggle. This time I juggled 250 times, but just recently I shattered that record, topping 300. I had a great time and it was good practice, which is why I recommend you go. |
